BHS Counseling Announcements

Welcome Luna - our new BHS comfort dog.  Luna will be visiting BHS once a week.

Attention Juniors :  Applications are available in the counseling office for students interested in attending "Girls State" or "Boys State" sponsored by the American Legion.   Both Programs provide an opportunity to learn about government and civics while spending time on a NH college campus. If selected, scholarships are available to cover most of the cost through the American Legion.  The application deadline for Girls State is May 15, 2019 .  The application for Boys State is May 24, 2019 (application fee is required).  Please stop by the counseling office for more detailed information if you are interested.

AP testing registration has closed for 2019

Scholarship information can be found in Naviance . If you are interested in applying for a Scholarship, you must complete this  form  for each Scholarship you apply to. Good Luck!

Registration for AP is now open.  Please fill out the google form for each exam you plan to take. Therefore, if you wish to take one exam, you must complete one form, if you wish to take two exams, you must complete two forms. Registration is open from January 18th to February 20th.  Please bring in your payment(s) to the Counseling Office.  One check may be written for multiple exams.

Before attending a College Visit students should do the following: *  sign up for a college visit on Naviance at least five days prior to the visit and print a copy     of the registration page. * receive permission from their teacher at least three days prior to the college visit if they will     need to miss class.  Students should have their teacher initial their registration and present it     at the time of the college visit. Please note, students who are attending a college visit during managed time do not require teacher approval.
