NHHEAF Presentation - Financial Aid

We were lucky enough to have Cameron Owen from NHHEAF present at our Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, October 24th.  If you were unable to attend, here is a link to his  presentation .

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is 10/22-10/26. RRW is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign.  We are encouraging everyone to display red light bulbs outside your home/businesses during this week to show support for this campaign!

Level Changes

At this time students can still request a level change until Tuesday, November 20th .  This change will be reflected on the student's transcript and current class grade will carry over to the new course.  There will be no level changes after Thanksgiving break .  We want students and teachers to be set on their path for the year by this point.  Parents/guardians must complete the necessary paperwork before a student may change levels.  Paperwork is available in the counseling office.

Senior Meetings

Seniors should be scheduling their senior meetings to review their future plans with their counselor! Deadlines are approaching. If you have an October 15th Early Action deadline, you should have already requested your transcript in Naviance (two-week prior notice is requested to make sure all your materials arrive by your deadline). Other popular early action/early decision deadlines to keep an eye on are: November 1st, November 15th, and December 1st. Please make note of your financial aid deadlines. Many financial aid deadlines are different than your application. You do not want to miss out on an opportunity to receive aid. This information should be clearly marked on the school's financial aid website.

The ASVAB test is coming!

The ASVAB test is coming to BHS on November 9th ! 10th - 12th graders can participate and sign up in the Counseling Office this month. Students should stop by with more questions!

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT is Wednesday, October 24th at 6pm in the theater.
